What We're Looking For

The Senior Director of Alumni Programs is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing programs that engage and cultivate relationships with Baylor Alumni. The role will develop strategies to foster alumni connections, enhance their engagement with the institutions, and support university initiatives. This includes managing alumni event participation, overseeing communication plans, and activating volunteers connected to alumni programs.

A bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience are required. A master's degree and ten or more years of experience are preferred.

A valid US Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.

Must be able to travel outside of the state of Texas.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.

What You Will Do
  • Supervise the ongoing budgeting, planning, and implementation of a variety of alumni programs and campus events.
  • Supervise and inform program staff in areas, as appropriate, of program management and associated events.
  • Coordinate marketing collateral for alumni programs, working closely with Advancement Communications and Marketing and Communications to ensure consistent branding.
  • Evaluate various programs and events, and make recommendations for improvement, including the Official Ring Program, and manage/maintain database records for assigned events and programs.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships and programs with University units, including academic colleges and departments, Admissions, Career Services, Athletics, Parent Engagement, and Student Life, to ensure effective and integrated programming.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
  • Ability to comply with University policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
