Under the direction of the Executive Director of Development for Scholarships and Student Support Initiatives, as the Director of Development, Financial Aid and Scholarships, you will plan and implement a strong, proactive major gift program that reflects the fundraising priorities of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual major gift prospects. As the Director, you will meet with leadership to gain knowledge of programmatic areas, determine market feasibility for fundraising priorities and provide development advice and counsel, in collaboration with other members of the campus development team. You will use available data to develop constituencies and identify prospects in relations to fundraising priorities; organize and conduct meetings of volunteers and donors designed to identify new prospective donors for private support; and create additional vehicles and methods for identifying new prospects. As the Director, you will establish and maintain cooperative relationships with appropriate individuals and offices throughout External Affairs, within the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and campus-wide. You will work with the Executive Director to manage and plan programs, periodically reviewing and revising goals and objectives. In addition, you will manage fundraising staff for the areas of Financial Aid & Scholarships and Alumni Scholarships and will be responsible for setting annual fundraising goals and will lead, guide and supervise the team in managing all fundraising initiatives and projects.

Special Instructions:
The budgeted hiring salary/target range for this position is the posted minimum to $10,833.33 monthly, with salary placement based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
