THE OPPORTUNITY
Bryant Group has partnered with Georgia State University to recruit two experienced, collaborative, and successful advancement professionals to assume the roles of:
Senior Director of Development, College of Arts and Sciences
and
Senior Director of Development, J. Mack Robinson College of Business
The successful candidates will serve an innovative urban university with over 250 majors, minors, and pathways offered to a highly diverse student body of more than 54,000 students on campuses throughout the Atlanta area.

Responsibilities (partial list)
Serve as a senior development officer for their College in the growth of the College's major gift fundraising program
Secure philanthropic support from individuals at gifts of $50,000+
Provide expertise and guidance in identifying fundraising needs and priorities through collaboration with the AVP for Development College for their unit, the College Dean, department chairs, and faculty to develop major gift fundraising plans and strategies
Conduct visits to qualify, cultivate, and solicit individual donors to increase philanthropic giving
Meet annual fundraising goal and assist in meeting unit goal while allocating and prioritizing time and resources to achieve the greatest return on investment
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
Five to eight years of experience working as a fundraising professional directly with major gift prospects
Solicitations of $50,000 or more with a focus on individual donors
Direct experience preparing proposals and conducting major gift solicitations
Four or more years of experience working as a fundraising professional in higher education
