The Anderson School of Management, one of the world's most prestigious business schools, is currently seeking a dynamic candidate for Senior Director, Major Gifts.

In this role, you will be instrumental in creating and sustaining relationships to build a strong, proactive major gifts program that increases visibility, builds philanthropy and moves forward the priorities and goals of the Anderson School. Reporting to the Executive Director, Major Gifts, and working closely with the Senior Associate Dean of External Affairs, you will plan and implement a strong, proactive program to secure major gifts from a portfolio of individual prospects. You will effectively communicate key funding priorities for the School, and work closely with the School's Dean, Senior Associate Dean, Associate Deans, volunteers, faculty, students, development staff and other colleagues school-wide and campus-wide. You will have a major role and work collaboratively with major gift officers, faculty and key administrators to increase the number and size of individual gifts, providing quarterly and annual giving reports to ensure accountability and working with Central Development and within the School.

Ideal candidates for this role will have a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising or a related field such as sales, marketing or business development to include proven skills in developing sophisticated strategies in the planning, implementing and administering of complex major gift solicitations or other solicitations of a similar nature, level and complexity. You will bring to this role outstanding communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills combined with the ability to be persuasive, tenacious and take initiative. In addition, your prior experiences have shaped your abilities in being organized, highly detail oriented and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment in a collaborative yet highly autonomous manner.
