Required Qualifications:
Experience producing digital content, creating and managing email, html, website and social media marketing.

Ability to develop content for feature stories and articles, and distribution through digital channels.

Working knowledge of web content management and web analytics.

Hands on experience with graphic design and HTML.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to consistently prioritize and lead multiple tasks from concept through implementation, and deliver quality outcomes on time and on budget.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media channels and audiences, and the ability to develop campaigns and targeted messages on each channel to engage those audiences.
Additional knowledge or training in the following areas: search engine optimization, photography, and videography/editing.
Working knowledge of Blackbaud software such as Raisers Edge (or similar) database and Luminate Online (or similar) email marketing client; LinkedIn and Facebook (Met Ads Manager) advertising strategies to drive traffic and qualify leads; Google Analytics, Hootsuite (or similar) social content management software
Experience in fundraising or higher education or non-profit sector.

Job Description:
Schedules, coordinates and provides digital media services including, but not limited to, video, audio, photography, and social media assets to promotions and other department, division, or university needs.

Job Duties:
Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to engage alumni via multi-channel digital communications.
Create and manage social media calendar; including day-to-day oversite of alumni social media accounts, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
Monitor and measure impact of digital programs and communications; analyze, review and report on effectiveness of efforts to maximize results.
Develop Key Performance Indicators dashboard to regularly report on insights gained through social media monitoring.
Contribute written copy, graphics, photography, video and other digital content in support of strategic communications efforts which includes a monthly E-Newsletter.
Engage and track alumni recognition for possible promotion on social and other channels.
Write articles and news stories that feature alumni success and impact.
Assist with event invitations and communications, including registration forms, post-event surveys and strategic follow up messages.
Work collaboratively with writers, designers, content producers, and subject-matter experts to create high-quality digital engagement content for alumni.
Manage alumni website, develop web-based content and track website analytics for monthly reports; update webpages to optimize UX; ensure the site remains current and brand compliant.
Collaborate with the database management team to keep email lists clean (e.g., reduce bounce rates and opt outs) and easily accessible so emails reach as many users as possible; develop targeted audience lists/queries.
Collaborate with University Communications and the communicators forum.

Assist with creation, development and distribution of marketing materials and campaigns related to fundraising for the Alumni Association and/or the university (such as Forever Bobcats, Step Up for State, We Met at TXST and other campaigns)
