ISU and the ISU Foundation are seeking candidates who want to help engage donors and open the doors to opportunity as a Director of Estate and Gift Planning. This position is responsible for philanthropic initiatives including the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewarding deferred gifts and life income stream gifts as a key area of opportunity for Idaho State University.

Major Donor Engagement and Fundraising

Development Relationship Enhancement Strategies

Collaboration

Constituent Portfolio Management

Qualifications vary based on each position and range
Minimum Qualifications include:

Three (3) to five (5) years of fundraising with experience securing planned gifts.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline or field

Understanding of complex outright gifts, charitable life-income and estate gift structures. Competency using donor management and planned giving software programs, the Microsoft Office package, and standard office equipment.

Preferred Qualifications include:

Advanced degree in a relevant discipline/field

Five (5) to seven (7) years successful experience and proficiency in securing planned gifts.

Experience with complex outright gifts, real estate gifts, charitable life-income and estate gift structures, family wealth planning, and multi-generational estate planning strategies.

Experience using Raiser's Edge donor management system.

Proven track record of formulating and executing effective philanthropic strategies and growing contributions through planned giving vehicles.
